Orphan Cards

Hi bloggers!  Happy New Year's Eve!  Last year I put up my orphan card post and thought I'd make this an annual thing.   By "orphan cards" I mean those cards that I made that I haven't felt were either good enough or just didn't come out like I had envisioned so they were never blogged.  So they are, in effect, orphans.  Last year I drew a name from the list of those who left comments about the cards to win the cards and give them a home (so they were no longer orphaned!)  If you feel like you can give a loving home to these poor cards, then please leave me a comment.  I will draw a name and announce the winner on Wednesday's post.  Have a safe and wonderful new year's eve!  All for now, Sue x

  12. GM Sue - I would love to be the owner of a Sue Wilson original - these are just lovely. I would be a proud new parent indeed. I would hate to show anyone my orphan cards - they have either been binned they were so awful(a 'disaster darling' as Craig Revel Horwood would say!) or kept for A&E surgery at a later date. HNY and looking forward to more of your wonderful creations in 2013

  18. Morning sue. Glad im not the only one who has second thoughts about their creations. One thing i have learnt is beauty is in the eye of the beholder and the person who gets the card loves it, so there is no such thing as a dud card.

  180. Sue,
The card that has the sentiment "The difference between who you are and who you want to be is what you do" just spoke to my heart. I read it and re-read it and re-read it. I have someone in my life right now who is struggling with some things and this card is perfect for him. I just about fell off my chair when I enlarged the card and saw the little footprints on the paper. This card is calling his name. :) If I win this card, I know it will go to a good home. This young man could use some wisdom from a card like this. Thank you for sharing. Oh, and the black and red card with the "Because I care" sentiment is just beyond gorgeous! They are all beautiful cards; those two just take my breath away.
    Hugs,
    Gail
