All White Thank You

Morning bloggers!  Ahh, all white, I just love doing these!  Today's card is another Labels 20 creation.  I started with embossed paper from Canvas Corp.  It has such a nice deep embossed pattern to it, it provided a lovely ready made background for my card (okay we all like shortcuts once in awhile, don't we? LOL)  I wrapped a piece of white silky crush around it and secured it to the back.  I tied a double bow and added it to the side of my card with a pearl embellishment and stick pins.  I cut three labels 20 frames all in graduated sizes for my focal element.  Using the Justrite Fleur de lis stamps, I stamped on to white card with a clear perfect medium pad.  I heat embossed the image in white. I stamped my sentiment in the opening in the stamp (it shows a bit better in the close up below).  I layered up all my frames with differing amounts of foam pieces, using several layers on the smallest one to raise it the most.  I liked the stair step effect it gave it.  I mounted them all over my stamped image and attached it to the card using Cosmic Shimmer glue.  I added a pearl swirl in the corner for a feminine touch and pierced the edges to give it a finished look.  This would make a lovely wedding card with a simple change of sentiment.  All for now, Sue x

  171. What a clean fresh look an all white card gives :-). That embossed background is gorgeous card stock! I'm sure I could choose a nice background folder from my collection though as I don't have that. I'm never tired of seeing a labels 20 design. It's a fab die set! Lots more please :-))) thanks again Sue, Claire xxx

Who would have thought that an all-white card would have looked so interesting... well I would if I knew you were making it - and you really haven't disappointed! Love the embossed paper - hope to see an embossing folder out soon - lol!

I had a little smile to myself when you said you added a bit of a pearl embellishment to add a feminine touch lol... cos if you didn't it would look really masculine wouldn't it? lol

    You rock those labels 20!
