Hi guys and Happy New Years Eve! I got a laugh a few days ago because someone posted a comment asking if I ever do a bad card? Ha Ha Ha Ha! Of course I do, all the time! Today's post is some (I couldn't get all of them to load!) of the cards that I did this past year that I truly did not like when I finished them. Either the colours didn't work together or the layout wasn't right, I don't know, but for some reason they missed the mark. They just didn't "sing" to me. I realise that I am probably more critical of my own work than you would be but I wouldn't waste a day's post to show any of these individually. The last day of the year, though, it is worth a post to show all of them together! The two or three Christmas ones aren't perhaps as terribly bad, but it's too late to post them so I threw them in! Help me pick the worst of my worst, what is your pick?
Since these cards are orphans and need a good home, I will randomly pick a number from the comments left after this post to find them a new home. I will post the winner on the 3rd (as well as the winner to the comment game from yesterday) All for now, Sue x

Oh! Sue, you should not be so hard on yourself in my eyes they are all beautiful, but if I did have to chose one it would be the red one,Happy New Year to you & yours.
Hi Sue
Happy new years eve to everyone. I would just like to say that if these cards are your "that you didnt like" i would be more than happy to call my good ones.
You are really are a perfectionist. I would like to thank you for all the wonderful inspiration you have given me overnthe past year.
Sue
Happy New Year to everyone but Sue if these are your 'bad' ones you haven't done bad because I like them all. Thanks for all the inspiration you have given us all and I look forward to more in 2012
Heather x
Happy new year Sue ,I don`t think they are bad I wish I was the one who got them as a card. Thanks for all the inspiration this year . Melanie
Happy New Year Sue. Not sure exactly where you are looking but these cards look great to me. Mind you, we are all super critical of our own work. Have lost count of the number of my cards that have ended up in the bin. If I were to pick one that did not 'sing' to me as much as the others it would be the second one (the leaves). However, they are all lovely and I would be proud to own them. Thanks for all the inspiration you give to all and look forward to seeing more in 2012.

love the cards
Very beautiful and colorful cards!
HAppy New year Sue!
lovely cards yet again sue, i love the last one. hope 2012 is everything you wish for xx
I wouldn't call these 'bad' ones by any means, but I kind of see where you're coming from in that they don't all 'sing'. The only one that really jars for me though is the second one, as the colours seem muddy.
Have a great New Year.
All the best.

Good morning Sue you have put a smile on my face this morning with your cards they are all very nice and if i recieved one i wouldnt be disapointed im suffering at the moment with tosilitis so u have def cheered me up i think if i had to pick one it would have to be the best wishes one very camoflargy lol

All fab cards Sue but I see what you mean they maybe aren't as wonderful but I wish mine turned out as good.
Have a wonderful New Year xx Jan
Hi Sue, I to am a perfectionist and have had quite a few orphan cards myself. I think most of them are fine maybe the colours on some don't work, but the designs are fab as usual. I would be very pleased to receive one of them. Well it's nearly here 2012. May I wish you and yours, and also everyone a very Happy,Healthy New Year. Not celebrating this year as Ive got a nasty cold and don't want to pass it on. Lots of love. Jenny L
Hi Sue, well in my humble opinion your cards would always stand well against any others whether you consider them below par or not but I can understand your feelings when you don't feel they reach your own high standards. For me the one that doesn't please my eye so much is the 7th one but it is purely because the colours aren't ones I like personally. I'm sure another person would love it ............ and that's what makes this world such an interesting place ............ we all like something different! I'd still be proud to own any of them though ;-) especially the 3rd one.
Have a wonderful New Year.
Hugs
Lesley Xx
I like your orphan cards, but know what you mean many times I have set out to use particular
things in a card, but then it changes and I have made a totally different card, I might like I might not, thanks for the inspiration Happy New Year angxx
Happy Hogmanay, Sue
Well New Year is a time for reflection. These are lovely cards but if I had to pick one that did not sing to you I would guess the first one. Not that it is not lovely but by your standards it might have missed perfect by the smallest hair. You are a hard taskmaster to yourself but all great artists are and these cards are a part of your progress to your goals. If I ever get to be a quarter as good as your least favourite card I will be happy.
Kind regards, Vee x
Hi Sue I agree with the other posts you are definitely too harsh. I would be proud of any of these creations. Cards 4,5,7&9 (numbering down) are stunning & worthy of own blogs. I think the 1st card would sing if you slipped a piece of red card (not raised) underneath the message covering the black between the message & the White raised frame (bringing the eye inwards). 2 Is probably my least favourite but inking the organza ribbon & rose with 1 of the autumnal inks from background & toning down the White of the leaves with vintage photo might give it a brand new look. 3 either needs gold from the embossed stamp used elsewhere e.g. As an embellishment in top right corner or the image re- stamping in dark green to match the ribbon & background. Finally I think 8 is a little tall. Re-locate the ribbon to bottom right and trim. 6 (the feminine love card) is my absolute favourite. It has fantastic use of colour, composition & dimension.
With love & light Theresa
Hi Sue Well I must say I would be pleased to receive any of these cards but if I had to pick my least favourite it would have to be the easel(no5) I wish you a Happy and peaceful New Year Tom
I really can not be critical of the cards with some of the cards, I've made in the past, I love the butterfly one and the last two cards, the others I can't put my finger on it, it may be the colours you are truely a perfectionist, I wish you and your family a Happy New Year.
Jane xx
If these are the bad ones then mine must be very bad!
Tracy x
Happy new year they are better than the ones. Have managed to do
Hi Sue, We are all critics when it comes to our own work, i like all of these cards you have done, no rejects. Yvonne xx
I wish I had these cards in my 'reject' pile!!! They look great to me - well done.
I can see why these are your orphans but anyone else would be very happy with them! Happy New Year. Love, Julia xxx
Your "bad cards" are better than my "good cards"! If I had to pick the worst, I would choose the autumn leaves one.
Boy it would be hard to pick a baddie out of these Sue. They are all so intricate and have either a flower, ribbon or colour to catch the eye. If I was to pick one it would be from the colour combo and nothing else so I will say the yellow and red one:0 Happy New Year to you and your family Sue.
Pinky
Happy New Year to one and all. Yvonne xx
Hi Sue
think the first one (Best wishes) is the one to bin for me. My partner says the bow needs ironing lol but what do men know. Not up to your usual standard.
The rest i wouldn't be ashamed to send.
Glad to see some colour back on your card of the day. The hat pins are something i will have to try. I have been putting beads on wire twisted into a flower. Like them as match up well.
Whats your new years resalution?!?!?!?!
Mine is to be up and dressed before i touch any card making lol Time just flys once u start.

Sue I wished I had bad cards like you ! Maybe I should send you one of my bad cards then you would realise that your don't even come close !! I would be happy to send any one of these cards but if I had to choose the first one ..because its first ! Don't be so hard on your self x
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.......all of them, especially the ones using the crinkle ribbon x x x Sue.
Hi Sue, I don't think 'bad cards' should come into your vocabulary, they are all good. My personal favourite is the 7th card, green & cream -lovely, but I surprised myself by liking the 4th Christmas wreath card the least. If they are orphans I would happily adopt them all!
Frances
Hi Sue, you really are a perfectionist (that's why we love your cards so much). I don't think I would be disappointed with any of these and I will definitely be using the layout in some of mine. I guess it is just the colour combination that sometimes isn't quite right, we all know how good you are at choosing toning colours. I think the first red and black one doesn't quite do it for me, but I will still make one in a different colour.
I made three cards yesterday morning with a butterfly theme, all in different colourways and am very pleased with my first attempts. Just have to go shopping then I can make some more, now I have the spellbinding bug! #
Have a great New year everyone!!!
Vicki :)
Wow Sue even your mistakes are better than my efforts. My new years resolution is to try to make cards as beautiful as yours. Happy New Year.
SC
Happy new year Sue, it was me that asked if you ever have any cards that turn out wrong...... well my dear I think that you are far to critical of your work, your standards are extremely high if I was sent any of those cards that you have created I would be more nor happy. I do understand where you are coming from I have made cards and not been entirely happy with them but my friends think they have been great. Thank you for sharing them with us, even though they make you cringe they make us happy. Have a great new years eve and I hope that next year will be a great one for you and your family. All the very best Suzie B xx
Oh Sue, Sue, Sue....how can you say they are bad cards? OK so some are not quite what you had in mind when you started but they are not for the bin, a bit of tweaking here and there and you have something new. I would love to receive any of your creations but if I had to choose my least favourite it would be the third one, the olive green one as I don't particularly like the bauble stamp you have used - but that is just me being picky.
May I take this opportunity to thank you for all your ideas and to wish you and all your "followers" a very peaceful and healthy 2012
love from Jackie D
Hi Sue
I could not begin to tell a master of beautiful card making how to do her cards but here goes lol! I am note sure on the 2nd one (Best Wishes Leaf Camouflage) maybe i would have put deep Lemony/yellow bow on and similar colour with the leaves just to bring out the colour more in your back ground. Have i hung myself yet LOL!!
Happy New Year to you and all
Lizzie (serial copycat)xx
How I wish that my best was as good as any of these. A very Happy New Year to you and your family.
Hi Sue, criticise you wonderful cards, you must be joking!! I love them all, but if I have to choose my least favourite it would be number two, but I would be happy to give any of the orphans a loving home! Happy New Year to you and all. Anne x
Okay, you asked for it so here goes! Those I'm truly not keen on are: number 1,4 (despite the colour), 5,6. You need to do what the rest of us mere mortals do, dismantle them and re-jig, turn each one into 2 different cards, remove the ribbon or cut up sections and make into gift tags. You asked us to comment so hope that's not too harsh. Anyhow, none of these are truly bad and 'bin- able'. Just heard you might be at Bluewater in February. So looking forward to that.
Happy New Year to you, your family and your blog damily.x
Hi Sue If I had to choose my least favourite card it would be the second one, the Autumn leaves, but that is still better than my attempts, they are all stunning cards you are far too critical of your own work!
Happy New Year to you all
Jan x
Hi Sue, I love all of your cards, they are inspirational, BUT the one that does nothing for me is the one with Autumn colours in the background (second one) I like the background but the rest doesn't seem to gel. Happy New Year. Terrie
Hi Sue, well if I have to choose my least favourite card, it would be the second one, the one with the leaf background. But as ever, I like them all.
Hi Sue, I agree with some of the other bloggers
all they need is a little twist here and there, but there is no way any of your cards are "not good " most of us would give anything to have your imagination and flare where card designing is concerned.
Happy New Year to All.
Janet xxx
Wooh - you are a harsh critic of your own work! I'd adopt em all quite happily! I love the first one best, but.. swap out the light ribbon for something autumnal like a russet ribbon and you would love it too.. I would have been happy to have made any of these ;) Wishing you a Happy New Year, sorry there has been sadness at the end of this one - I'm so happy I found this inspirational blog xx
SUE YOUR JOKING LOVELY CARDS
HAPPY NEW YEAR
FROM DEBBIE
Hi Sue, I am sure you could salvage them very easily. I know myself how hard that is, as I would rather make a new complete card than fiddle with one. The only ones I think are not quite 'you', are number 2. Only because I think the stamped leaves are too many for the area. Also number 7, only because of the colours. Rather bright for my taste!
I would like to wish a Happy New Year to you and your family. Hopefully a bit happier than 2011, for us that have lost a family member or a friend.
Hugs, Carol S.xx
The first one doesn't work for me because of the colours I think although red black and white does generally work.
I love the You are always on my mind card and the best wishes one with the leaves the colours in those are my favourites.
Have a good new year's eve
Hi Sue
All the cards look good to me but if I had to pick a least favourite it would be the second one and only because of the die cut leaves because the background colours are great.
Eileen x
Well guess what Sue - I like them all!! They may be a little bit simpler than you usually do but I really like them so thanks for sharing them with us.
Happy New Year's Eve to everyone - take it easy and hope everyone enjoys their celebrations!
lots of love lilygee xxx
I would be thrilled to receive one of these cards. they are all good to me.
Happy New Year to all
Sandra xx
I dont really like to be critical of someones creations, as mine arent as good as your orphans lol. I absolutely love number 3 and the others are very good too. Some of the colourways are not to my taste, If I have to be critical the one I like the least is number 1 and I think its the stipe/check paper. But truly you are a talented and inspirational lady, even with your orphans!! Helen O xxxx
Hi Sue,
one thing I've learned is that if I have an 'orphan' card which I don't like somebody else will and it will be one of their favourites. I can honestly say that none of you cards should be an orphan - you should see many of mine! Lol.
Heavens' above IS there such a thing as a below-standard Sue Wilson? I certainly don't think so and you'll have to do much better (or worse!) than these examples for me to reject one.
Thank you for the huge enjoyment, inspiration and enthusiasm you brought to us on line and on our screens this year.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone and may 2012 be the healthiest, happiest and bestest yet.
Marion
Well Sue this is pretty difficult, as i don,t belive that anyone,s craft is terrible, i belive we all have our own style. And the person that is showing us truly likes what they have acheived. But as i am an honest person i will leave a post and give you my opinion i think the second card is the only card that deserves to be in this catagory, i think it is the white on the leaves that i don,t like, but in saying that i would not throw it away if i was to receive it in the post. LOL
HAPPY NEW YEAR
Helenxx
Happy New Year Sue, another difficult question for your followers. If I had to choose a worst one from you it would be the leaves card. For me this is NOT your usual style, having said that, to receive any of them would be fantastic.
Looking forward to 'spending' 2012 with you.
Hugs

Oh Sue if only my failed were nearly as good as yours I would be over the moon. I have just ordered your DVD and hope I can learn from you and overcome my fears and also think outside the box. Happy New Year to you and yours.
Diane N
What a question!!! "Help me pick the worst of my worst, what is your pick?" ....I certainly wouldn't refuse any of them if they fell through my letterbox but I think that the first one is the one that's really not as 'gorgeous' as your usual ones. I think perhaps it's the bow....
Happy New Year, here's to another 12 months of wonderful inspiration from you xx
Hi Sue,
If these beautiful cards were 'not quite right' I would love to see the really dreadful ones. These are as stunning as ever.
Happy New Year to you and your family.xx
Love them all, but if I have to choose the one I least like, it would be the first one x
Hi Sue,
I love your orphans and would happily take them all in under my roof and give thema good home!
If you really twisted my arm and I had to say one was worse than the others, which shouldn't happen in families as everyone is unique, I would quietly say perhaps the second one was not quite as good as the others but still had it's own redeeming features!
Love seeing all your beautiful cards Sue and thank you so much for sharing your talent with us.
May I wish you a very Happy and Healthy New Year.
Love Kath xx
Liking these poor homeless orphans. But maybe the least favourite would be Best Wishes card with leaves. Best Wishes for 2012 Sue and many thanks for sharing your blog I love visiting xx
Hi Sue Love your blog I do take a peek everyday because I never fail to be inspired by you. You are a perfectionist and you do set the bar very high for yourself, knowing that even you sometimes make cards you're not happy with gives us hope that we are not alone when things go wrong - so thanks for admitting it it makes us all feel better. I find it hard to be critical of your work but if I was pushed I would say perhaps card number 2 doesn't 'sing' for me but that is just a colour 'thing' because my fave cards of yours are always the frilly, girly cards that you are so good at. Happy 2012 when it arrives and we all look forward to being inspired by you yet again xx Anne
Hi Sue!
For me these orphan cards are gorgeous! they are no way out of it but I think the first card is the orphan. hehehe! But, I would be honored to have them in my care if I get the chance.
Have a Happy New Year!

Hello Sue, Happy New Year to you.
I just wish I had some cards as good as these in my "not very good" stash. You are obviously too much of a perfectionist. Like some of the other comments, I would also say that perhaps No 2 is not quite as appealing as the others but really I would love to be able to claim that I created them all. Keep up the inspiration, you are absolutely so talented.
Thank you
Toni

Love them all, hope they each find a good home
I have room for a little Orphan LOL

Happy New Year x
hi sue
i wish some of my cards were as good as your orphans. i would have liked to make all of them but my fave orphan is the thanks card. any of them would be well looked after in my house. happy 2012 to you
ally needham
Well, I like all of them, especially the red-based 'thank you so much' card. The one that doesn't quite work for me is the dark green-based one with the very symmetrical stamp design in the centre.
If a card doesn't work I think you can usually fix it by adding a judicious touch of something or other. I leave the offending article lying around where I catch sight of it now and again and, eventually, it hits me what is missing.
Hmmm......really there is only one card that i'm not as keen on & that is the 2nd card listed, the Autumnal one. A little busy for me.
However, i really like the others & love the Easel card!
Happy 2012 to you & thankyou for all the effort & work you put into creating inspiration for us.
I really enjoy your blog & C&C shows. I look forward to them!
Happy Hogmanay & all the best for 2012.....
Nicki xx
Like everyone who makes things you're always too critical of your own stuff. I'm constantly asking my other half for his opinion or sending mms to my daughters for their ideas. All the cards are nice, some nicer than others but it depends on your colour preferences and whether you like 'busy' or 'less busy'.
Personally I think they are all good.

Happy New year Sue,i know what you mean when you say they did not sing to you ,I would be very happy if I could make one of them if i was to pick one I would say no.3, it is nice to know that someone as talented has a "off" day

I don't think any of those cards are bad. I'd be happy to recieve any of them (or make them).
Happy New Year.

If you think these are bad, well then I'm off to hide in a box for a while. We all aspire to make a cards like you do that why we leave you lovely comments and keep buying those Spellbinders. I guess everyone has days like these cards when you just can't nail what's wrong.
Hi Sue, your cards are fab, you've got a great eye for getting things right so dont be so harsh on yourself
have a wonderful new year, im looking forward to see what wonders you bring us next year regards hazel xx
the only one I really dont like is the first one, so I dont know what you are worrying about.
Happy New Year Sue to you and yours
Hi Sue you know that I couldnt possibly say that any of your cards are less than perfect but the one I like the least is no 2 it has taken me 2 years to throw away some of my disasters and mine are Sue yours are NOT..hope the new year comes in and brings peace and wishing you and the family comfort and joy....take care Margaret
It's funny how we are all such critics of our own work. They all look great to me!!
The 'you are simply fabulous' one is fabulous in my opinion, as are some of the others - I wish you could see some of my disasters - your some nowhere near! Hope you and your family and all your blog followers have a wonderful time tonight seeing in the New Year. Looking forward to following you in 2012, you are a great inspiration. Regards, Anne Rx
Well I wouldn't mind laying claim to any of them...I don't think it's possible for you to make a bad card Sue!!! But I know what you mean....I am always criticising my own! Hope 2012 is a Happy and Healthy one for you Sue and fellow bloggers XX Carole Z
Hi Sue,
If I had to pick a card that didn't quite sing to me it would be the second one with the dark leaves and the white bow. If I am honest I would find it hard to see any of your cards "not coming up to scratch" as you are truly talented in crafting
Hi Sue, The one I like least is no. 7, but only because of the colours, I love the easel one. x
hi sue as ever all your cards are beautiful sometimes i make a card and think thats horrible then a neighbour will come round and want to buy it.
You know what they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Every one has their own opinion otherwise we would all want the same husband lol
have a happy new year
Debbie xx
Wow, I think these cards are gorgeous. I like them all. TFS.
Well yes Sue you are super critical but if I really have to pick my least favourite I think it would be the olive green one if only because it is not my fav. colour! Happy & healthy New Year to you & yours. Ann W
Poor orphaned cards, sounds so sad, but they are all loverly. We all a too self critical. I have kept a few of my cards from when I started crafting and oh my goodness, I would not dare let anyone see them now. The best way to improve and anything is stick at it. The first card I just love love love.
happy new year Sue and we look forward to another year of crafting.
Sue, Even your bad cards are sooooooooooooo good! Looking forward to seeing your creations in 2012

Well I'm sorry but as far as I can see they are all still brilliant!!
Happy New year to everyone.
Well i wish my mistakes were this good - but if iwas to chose i would say number 2 just not sure about that one.
Wishing you a Happy News Year's Eve.

Well they still all look good to me. I particularly like the 2nd, 7th and 8th cards going downwards.
How can you call these bad???? Ok, may be 1 or 2 don't 'sing' to be either - but they can't be classed as Bad. I do LOVE The last card. as for a worst... maybe number 2.
Well Sue if you think yours is bad i'll send you some of mine. laugh out loud.
I cant see any thing wrong with them .
Happy new year

I would say number 2, but reckon it could have been quite different with a different ribbon. Numbers 1 and 7 aren't really me but the others are ok.It's probably a good job we all have different tastes. Happy new year !
Hi Sue, I would be delighted to receive one of these cards... Happy New Year to you x x

Well I cant see anything much wrong with any of them Sue. I love the green 'you are always on my mind' card. Have a very Happy New Year and very best wishes for 2012. Karen x
I would be proud to have produced any of these Sue. My least favourite is No. 2 possibly a darker tone ribbon and flower. Regards Edwina
I don't like to pick others rejects although am fine about consigning mine to the reject or even destination bin on occasion...of pressed it would be no two...happy new year trace x
Hi Sue,
Thank you for asking for our opinions, that means alot.
Well as you know I will be honest so I truly hope I don't overstep the mark.
I think No1 is too symmetrical, the paper emphasises this and the red seems an afterthought. I actually like No2 except the bow - wrong ribbon and wrong colour (mix green/black vintage floppy corner bow instead?). No3 is perfect and I think No4 would look perfect also with just white corners cut from another main Doily motif. No5 to me, and please remember these are all just 'my opinions', I'd replace red stamping with clear and a smaller bow of floppy cream vintage ribbon instead of the red crinkle. No6 is my favourite and No7 my least!
No 8 is almost perfect but I would omit the leaves at the bottom completely, they seem too 'in your face'. As to the last, and I bet your glad I'm there by now, I honestly don't know what it is but I neither like nor dislike it. This is the only one I really think I could call an orphan.
Well my friend, I hope I was constructive and not destructive. To all of us here, it is a privilege to see your work and I join with the others to thank you for all your wonderful inspiration. (It's actually lovely to know that you are just like us and make mistakes).
Regards and Happy New Year dear Sue and all

You are very hard on yourself!
Hi Sue, just wanted to stop by and wish you a very Happy New Year. All your cards having been inspiring in 2011. Definately looking forward to 2012, have lots of crafting fun. Love and Hugs x ChrisB

Happy New Year to you and everyone !

Just wanted to say Happy New Year to you and to thank you for all the wonderful inspiration you've given me throughout this past year. Love from Linda Adams
Hi Sue
No.2 and 9 are my favourites.
You are too hard on yourself, anyone (except you :D)would be really happy to get one of those cards.

Wishing you and your family a happy 2012

Hello Sue,
My least favourite would be No2, only because of the ribbon colour, they are all fabulous, I wish that my bad cards looked as good as these.
Happy New Year to you and best wishes for 2012.
Love, June
Hi Sue there is not one of your cards I don't like so woul not mind winning any of them enough of that I wish you and all those close to you a very
HAPPY NEW YEAR look forward to your next visit in 2012
Theresa x
Know what you mean Sue, there's nothing 'wrong' but you look at them and there's no sense of achievement. If I had to pick out one of yours to put in a drawer out of the way, I think it would have to be the 2nd one. But saying that it is loads better than most people could do.
Keep going Sue, you rock, Happy New Year x
HAPPY NEW YEAR
All your cards are great you are far too hard on yourself. The only one I am not so keen on is the Orange one. That is one colour that I never works with.
HAPPY NEW YEAR,
Love all your cards, you are a little too hard on yourself Sue.
Mind you I think all us crafters tend to do that at some point.
There is only one card in that whole selection that I am not in love with and that is the "Orange one" only because it is a colour I never work with.
Keep up the great work and look forward to seeing what you bring us in 2012.
Patricia xx
Hi Sue, as others have said seems like you have very high standards where your cards are concerned, but then maybe if they are going to be on tv and looked at by thousands then you really do have to feel they look 'right'. I would say my least favourite is the second one with the leaves, the toppers just dont 'fit right' but the background itself is really nice! I want to just pick up that green bow on the third xmas one and put it on top of the bow on the stamped bauble! I like the 'love' easel card, but cannot decide on a favourite. I am sure any of your orphans would find a loving home with any of your followers ;) happy new year!
ps I am also finding this interesting, about these particularly but generally on your blog, how different people have different views of the same cards. Also echo the comment can you do some more stamping shows again?
Bad for you is not bad for us Sue
Although I know what you mean, I only send cards if I like how they turn out - other people might like my rejects but I would not send them
May I wish you all the best for 20012
Love Vie
x
Hi Sue, I would give any of your little orphans a home! The only one I'm a little less keen on is the orange one - and that's only because I'm another lady who doesn't really like orange, not because it's a bad card, it isn't. Surprised so many didn't like the second card as I liked it a lot and was starting to feel quite protective of it as the comments flowed! The third, green one, just needed a litle glitter on that bauble, in my opinion, and I loved the other green one, next to last, with the leaves - but then I love green .. and leaves. Happy New Year to you all, I've just been watching the fireworks on tv, even better than last year. Wish you all good health and happier times for you, Sue, in 2012. Sue x
Sue, all your cards are beautiful, but if I had to choose 1, I suppose it would be the orange 1. Its very 'loud' and not really my cup of tea. I would still give it a loving home though.. lol..
love and hugs

PS. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Just wanted to stop in and say Happy New Year! While I wouldn't say that any of these are "bad"...it's nice to know that not all of yours are totally gorgeous! lol.

I really like most of the cards you posted on this post; there are one or two that I'm not particularly fond of though. Isn't it interesting how sometimes the things we think will go together well just don't make the cut? Thanks for showing us some of the cards that you feel didn't make the cut.
It´s true, there is not worse critics than ourselves... They are not as bad as you describe...
The less nice one for me is the first one, the black-white with the red ribbon... and it´s only because you are saying chose one! I like your orphan cards, including the orange one that everybody is choosing as the less nice!
I wish my bad ones are a little bit as yours... I don´t show them anyways!
I think you might be a bit hard on yourself as these cards are worthy of showing Sue. The card I like the least is number one but my favourite is the next to last one, I wouldn't mind claiming any of them as my own.x
Happy New Year Sue!! I don't think that any are 'bad' cards, my favourite though,is the one second to to last - love the shape!!
Happy New Year Sue to you and yours. I dont think there is a bad card amongst them. I love the first red and black one. My least favourite is No 2, something just not right for me, might be the WHITE ribbon, maybe cream would have blended better, only in my opinion but as usual your cards are stunning.
Happy New Year to everyone here too
when are you next on C & C

Happy new year Sue, I have to say that all of these cards are great, but as most people seem to be saying, the lesser great one is the second one.
Sandie
Hi Sue
I've not seen a bad one of yours, you've obviously never seen mine although I plod on!
The 3rd is my birthday so a card from THE SUE WILSON would have been nice as I get very few at all
Happy New Year To All
PS My least fav is no 5(the yellow and orange one, Think its no 5 if not its no 6)
Love Sue X
Happy New Year Sue, hope you have a good one.
Your orphan cards are all better than anything I could do so I am not going to choose a bad one. I would be happy to receive any of these cards.
Hi Sue.
This is my first post to your blog I only found your site a while ago.
I must say I love all of you cards and wish I was as good.
Withe regards to the orphan cards I love the green one second to last and my least fav is the orange one.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and all of your followers.

Happy New Year, Sue. I don't think you could e-v-e-r make a bad card Sue. The things you do to Spellbinder's dies leave me reeling sometimes- where do your ideas come from? I have to confess I sometimes use your work as inspiration for my own- your cards are always so unusual. I just love all of your "rejects"
Alice
Hi Sue and Happy New Year to you and your family. I know what you mean about your orphans - they are still beautiful cards but not as elegant as your favourites. Mind you I wish my orphan cards were as good. My favourite is the first one and my least favourite is the 2nd one. Cant wait to see you back on C&C for more inspiration, just hope my bank can cope lol.

If I have to pick one, I'd say third from the bottom. The picture makes the colours look not so good. Maybe a better pic would completely change the feel of the card.
LOL, orphan cards too funny Sue! I think all your cards are too good for words at times that you don't really have a bad one in the bunch. Love your work keep it up. Hugs, Mimi
You are exactly like me, always too harch on your own creations, as they´re NOT as bad as you say hun. If I had to choose one, it would probably be the last one, but morte becuase it´s not quite as good as the othre, NOT because it´s bad in any way. I just love the green one before, it´s so gorgeous and just my taste too. and there´s more of these, I really love a lot.
You are too hard yourself. How can you not love the pink card with butterflies, its gorgeous.
Gill
Oh Sue, I certainly couldn't pick one. they all have their own 'charm' and everyone of those cards will inspire someone to look at a die in a different way, or to 'think outside the box'
and for that reason alone they are worthy of being adopted and given a lovely home!
I truly hope you have a Happy, Healthy 2012 Sue.
Huge Hugs
Sandra Riley
If I had to pick a worst is would be the orange leafy Best Wishes card and my favourite is the flowery So Thank You Very Much. However, all of them are inspirational as always. Thank you for sharing them with us xx
Oh Sue, I think you are being too harsh on yourself, even if you think they are not your best they will ;pved by others
