A Few Samples

Thank you for all your support today as the POTW shows today turned out to be a smashing success.  So much so, that I am not certain what I have to demo with tomorrow.  Tune in if you want to see me tap dance!  That should be good for a laugh or two at least!  They are sold out of many items, including the fleur de lis set that I had planned on using on several demos on Saturday and Sunday.  I thought I would show a few of the samples (ones that I had relatively good pictures of being the criteria they were picked by!)  I may be allowed to do bits and pieces of cards using some of the dies that are still in stock.  I will just have to wait and see what we have left to work with by Saturday morning.

If you did decide to go for some of the dies, you won't be dissapointed as it is truly a lovely lot.  I only had a week to make samples with them prior to the show and the ideas they inspired are still coming!  I need more time!  Hopefully they will bring them back soon as I really enjoyed having a play with them.  (Plus I have about fourteen more demos prepared I would like to use too!)
I will try to get some better pics of the cards and get them up on the blog in the next few weeks though so at least you will be able to get a look at them better.  The car stamps are brillant too and so easy to use.  Remember Fathers Day will be upon us before we know it.  Mums are so much easier to make cards for, but Dads and guys in general always require a bit more thought, don't they?
Oh and by the way, after the show was over, they had me pick an email out of the cup and I picked Julie M Crane's name!  Julie's name was drawn during the last candy contest too!  Julie, I think with your luck, I would invest in a lottery ticket! LOL  But seriously, thank you for the lovely email!  They are sending out the card I demoed using the into the box technique with the Aston Martin car so do let me know when you get it.

I've got a very early start in the morning so all for now, Sue x

  32. Out today so I put the shows onto tape. Only the first one taped for some odd reason, so I am annoyed about that. Hope you are on again tomorrow. It must be very disappointing for you Sue, when you have planned lots of demos that you then cannot use.

  33. Hi Sue,
Love the cards - though I was too late to get the fleur de lis nestie.

  34. WOW Sue what a whirlwind couple of day - I succumbed and bought the multibuy - thank goodness for flexipay! Would have liked to have had a longer look at the two bicycle cards (the orangey one and the one with the ruffled green ribbon - maybe you will be allowed to post them on here eventually).

  48. Sue, it's been an absolute joy to watch you 'freestyling' - roll on more sell outs if it means you get time to be able to show us some of your 'tricks of the trade'. It also shows everyone how talented you really are by having to go 'off piste without the aid of a safety net' and still produce stunning results. You are going to need a long lie down!

  49. Amazing shows for us, but it must have been so stressful for you dear Sue. Like others, I watched them all ~ thank you for every moment. You really are such a breath of fresh air to watch, with your beautiful samples & the gorgeous cards you make live.
