I Fixed It!

You are .all probably thinking that it's about time!  I'm referring to the removal of that annoying little message that has plagued my blog for the past several weeks.  Yeah! I finally made it go away (and hopefully for good this time).  I assure you that I wasn't just ignoring it all this time.  I was trying daily to make it go away.  I finally figured out what the problem was this morning and was able to remedy the situation once and for all!  For the time being, I am trying out a new blog background.  I found several that I liked, but I can't seem to change the colour of the font on the blog so they looked slightly odd if they didn't match.  So I decided on this one in the meantime.  What do you think?
I was also hoping to be able to give you a date for my next show, but there still hasn't been any comfirmation on it.  I just know that I will be using Sam Poole's two new Vintage Christmas stamp sets.  I do have some new demo ideas planned so I am very excited about it.  Here's just a little peek at one of the sample cards I've made.  Nothing fancy, but I really liked the way it came out.  This is from the Vintage Postcard set.  If you like what you see, the stamps are available on the Particraft website if you don't want to wait around for the show.  All for now, Sue x

  17. Gorgeous card - love the ideas how to use the cuttlebug embossed folders on a square card. I will definitely check out the stamps on the site. The background on your blog is fab, i did not realise you were struggling to get rid of that annoying message otherwise I would have emailed you some instructions how to get rid of it. What happened, the previous site where you got the blog background closed, and removed all the links, so there were a fair few sites who were without backgrounds. Now, i upload them to my own site such as photobucket so the link will never go.

  23. Thank you for getting rid of that doodah! Being hopeless as IT stuff I thought it was something I was doing *d'oh* Lovely card :D I like the the black brocade on the background, not so sure about the pink bit - but that would be cos I don't like pink in general. If was purple I'd be drooling LOL

  53. Pink and black were my daughter's wedding colors, so I tend to be a little prejudiced about them, but they do look lovely! The card is very warm and friendly. I always wonder what kind of envelope folks use when the bows are so large. Suggestions?
