Since I've been bad and haven't had a chance to update the blog candy for the next contest, I thought I'd better post something. So here are a few more of the samples from the show on Monday. There were several that didn't get shown so I thought I'd stick them up here in case anyone who purchased the stamp sets might want to see them. The first one is the only real Christmassy sample that I did. It used the more traditional colours from the paperpack on the show. I cut the snowflakes from a Spellbinders die that I had and I used white gloss card for them to give them a real shiny look. The second card I had a bit of fun with too. I cut the paper from the paperpack into a few long strips and folded it accordian style to create a ruffle look around my nestibility. Do you recall the faux suede technique from my wine stamp show? Well the two black flowers on the card were made using card that I turned into faux suede. The picture doesn't do them justice, they are so soft to touch though.
The third card is one of my favs. I just love this paper with it's little circles, so much fun! It just goes with everything too. I had a little play with these two guys below, added a flower made from the new paper, some ribbon, nestibilities, pearl embellishments and punches to complete the card.
This last card is the sample from the shaving cream technique demo I did. What fun it is to do! If you have never had a go at this technique and don't know where to start, let me know. I would be willing to work up a step by step tutorial if enough people haven't seen this before. We will have men everywhere across England hiding their shave cream from us crafters! Be afraid, be very afraid men!
Well I am hoping that this will buy me a few more days so I can get a proper blog candy contest prize together that is suitable for the next contest that will be drawn when we reach the magical number of 1000 followers! Remember, you still get an extra entry into the contest when you leave me a comment so that I know you have stopped by the blog. Happy crafting, Sue x

That shaving cream technique never gets old; the results are just too spectacular. I love the bling and the ruffle on the blue card, but my fav is card three. The papers have that golden colour and that polka dot paper is irresistible.
Great cards...especially like the shaving cream one. Haven't seen that technique done in a long time so I'd love to see a tutorial to refresh the memory! TFS
Wow, wish I could have seen the show if these are the ones that didn't make it on! These are all great!

hi Sue, I just saw your show with these Christmas stamp sets, I had to come here and say that you are such a huge inspiration to me. I love your samples and your geneorousity of showing proper samples, proper cards - I am tired of seeing or going to demonstrations where you see them stick two bits together and they then call it a card. I enjoyed watching the show thoroughly, and your samples are stunning. I have only crafted for 2 and half years, been an artist for longer. However, I thought I knew most techniques, but I have never come across the shaving foam technique. The ribbon raffling looked absolutely stunning - must see if I can find a you tube video showing how to do this. Thank you so much, look forward to future shows, thank you for posting the samples here and I see some that did not make it to air. They are gorgeous. My stamps have been ordered and are on their way to me! Sarpreet
Hi Sue thank you for my lovely stamp plate that arrived today, can't wait to play with it.
Saw your fantastic show. Loved all the samples and techniques. All your cards are stunning, you are inspiring. Tried your ribbon technique on a special card I was making, it's so easy and so effective. Showed my friend she said it was lovely and was off to have a try. Thanks again. ChristineB
Wow everyone is fantastic. Several great ideas I'm going to use. TFS

Loved the show Sue, your demonstration with the shaving foam brought back memories of my school days when we learned this in art we used to use indian ink with the shaving foam, I will have to have a go using Sir T!m's inks lol.

The shaving technique is brilliant!! Never seen it before. But do you need the Paris Trunk Inks - or are there others that will work as well? I know you said they needed to be fairly thick inks. Cxx
