Your right, but…..<br />if you believe some folklorists, this rhyme may actually be about the Black Death (bubonic plaque) or Great Plaque of London. LOL... can you believe me!! Sorry, I do love the card (and rhyme) but it just struck me funny that the underlying colour was black and so ‘is’ the rhyme. Why do children’s rhymes and tales have such gruesome stories (Grimm’s fairy-tales etc.).<br />I'm waffling now aren't I.
