Hello bloggers! I started by cutting a piece of white card and taping the top half off with a piece of copy paper. Using Stormy Sky Distress ink, I sponged it along the copy paper's edge and down towards the bottom of the card. I used a bit of Blueprint Sketch Distress ink towards the top line. I used an old white ink pad and ran it across leaving lines throughout with the edge of the pad. I cut some milk card and added it at the bottom of the card for sand. I cut a large round piece of yellow card for a sun and added it into the corner. I cut the palm tree in black and glued it across from the edge of the card. From the Beach Accessories die set, I cut the beach towel in white and added yellow stripes. The beach bag and tropical drink where both cut in white and coloured with markers. I cut the Beach Bather die with the floral swimsuit and coloured her to match in yellow tones. I cut the hat twice and hand cut around it, then cut just the centre of the hat and added it with mounting foam for a 3D look. I added her to the towel, with the beacj bag and drink around her. I cut the Thinking of You sentiment in black and glued it to the top of the scene. Using the Fine Postage Stamp Rectangles, I made a frame in white and added it over the scene with mounting foam. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6" x 8" in size. All for now. Sue x
