Thinking Of You
Hi crafters! Here's a bright and cheerful card to share with you! I started by embossing a piece of white card with the Padded Quilt embossing folder. Next I cut the Harper die in white. I backed the inside part of the die with white card then added a purple backing for the edge. I added it to the background with mounting foam. Next I cut the Butterfly Cluster with a piece of black card on top of a piece of white card and ran it through the die cutter. The top cut the die exactly as it should in black and the bottom whit piece gave me the piece to colour in with the die impression embossed into it. I coloured it with jewel tone markers, then glued the black die cut on top. I added it at the bottom of the Harper die with mounting foam. I used the Thinking Of You sentiment cut in black then added to the centre of the Harper die. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 8" in size. All for now, Sue x
Good morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, stunning card today, the embossing folder in the background is the perfect platform to display the front dies and all the beautiful coloured flowers at the bottom, I tried this technique yesterday on a previous sample you did, and coloured the flowers with graphmarkers I was very pleased how it came out, thank you for the inspiration on that one and also this beauty today.
