ReplyDelete1. Which is the only large cat that cannot roar?
2. Apart from the duck-billed platypus what are the only mammals that lay eggs?
3. What is the northernmost national capital city in the world?
4. Which is the only day of the week not mentioned in the Beatles song “Lady Madonna”?
5.The movie “The Green Mile” is based on a book by which author?
Hi Liz, I do know a few of these. The cheetah doesn't roar, it sounds more like a loud house cat (and it is the only large cat without fully retractable claws too). The echidna lays eggs, I think there are a couple of different species of them too. I think Nuuk is just a bit more northernly than Reykjavik (but only a few miles) I was there a few years ago too. As I sing the song to myself, I think it was Saturday, although I had never really noticed its omission before! I know the movie, but haven't a clue who wrote the book The Green Mile. Great questions, keep them coming!
DeleteGreat answers, Sue. Stephen King wrote The Green Mile. xx
