Gone Fishing
Hello bloggers! I started today's card by cutting a piece of white card with the Woodgrain Plank Background. Next I cut the Fishing Vest out of green card. I cut it a second time out of a lighter green card and hand cut thee pockets and glued them to the green fishing vest base. I cut the Fishing Lures out of a variety of colours and added them to the pockets. I cut the fishing basket from the Fishing Frame and cut it out of the frame. I added it to the area below the vest. I added two more lures to the basket. I cut the Fishing Rod and fish and glued them across the fishing basket to the vest. I cut the fishing hat from the Fishing Essentials set in brown and added it with mounting foam next to the vest. I cut the Gone Fishing sentiment in black and glued in the upper right corner. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 1/4" x 7 1/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

Good morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, another gorgeous card, this time for fishing, what I love about these die is the detail that is etched on them like the scales of the fish, brilliant.

Hi Sue
ReplyDeleteA great fun card for fishermen. I love all the little details.
Hi Sue and all that visit today.
ReplyDeleteHow strange that I've been asked to do a fishing card for a lads 30th but unfortunately I've been asked for a more 'risqué type card which isn't easy to do or find.
Not having brothers or cousins I've never had much to do with fishing apart from when I was around 9 maybe 10 dad whom I absolutely adored with all of my heart use to drive me to our local park with a fishing rod that you could buy with a long stick made of cane and netting at the end and a small plastic child's bucket where we use to try and scoop up the stickle backs that flicked their tail and blew bubbles round the edge of a massive pond, we always set them free before dad held my hand and I skipped back to the car, the happiest most in love little girl in the whole world.
Hope the day is kind to you all.
Me xx
A great card which any angler would appreciate receiving .The colours achieved and detail are, as always, the sign of someone who has thought about the subject rather than producing something standard. WakeyL
