For My Friend
Hello bloggers! This one is a bit on the clean and simple style, but I really like the cleanness of this one. I cut the Layered Iris out of two shades of purple card, Iris and Amethyst card. I assembled the flowers and added a yellow centre to them. I cut the leaves and stems out of two shades of green card and added the flowers and bud to them. I used the Double Stitched Ovals and made a multi-layered frame. I added mounting foam to the back and attached another piece of white card behind. I arranged the Iris inside the frame, allowing it to reach over the top of the frame. I cut the For My Friend sentiment in black and glued it above the frame. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x 8 3/4" in size. All for now, Sue x
Gorgeous card Sue, I do love an Iris xx Hazel
ReplyDeleteHi Sue.
ReplyDeleteI echo Hazel's comment Sue, this is gorgeous.
In real life I'm starting to love the rockery Iris, I'm not a lover of the tall flouncy fluffy iris, but I love how you've captured the depth and detail in your die hence making the prettiest of January die release samples, I've wished hard and long for every die from this collection just like I wished for Cinderella's wedding dress in my book at the age of 6 lol and every morning I wait to see if they've been delivered but alas my wish hasn't come true lol but I have every post in the launch to look back at and decide which die to treat myself to rather than a bar of Easter chocolate. This is true stunning inspiration from you Sue absolutely gorgeous.
Sending love to all friends Today xxx

Hi Sue. All the layered flower dies are so effective, the problem I have is that I can't decide which ones to add to my die collection. You have shown us here just how easy it is to make a clean and simple card using them. Thank you
