Daffodil
Hi there my crafty friends! What layered flower collection would be complete without a Daffodil! So here we are! This set has thirteen dies which include one large flower, one smaller flower, a flower bud as well as leaves and stems. You can build the flowers up into a full bouquet or keep it simple with just a few flowers. Either way, they are sure to make a beautiful card. You know what to do, right? Leave your comment on this post as well as all the others to give you the best chance of winning! The next post will be along at 3pm today. All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue - absolutely gorgeous - who doesn’t love the cheerful daffodil?! My credit card has now gone for counselling lol! Colleen xx
ReplyDeleteHi Sue
ReplyDeleteBeautiful new die set and card. Daffodils are so bright and cheerful and a sign spring has sprung. Something to look forward to.
I love how you get the bud and stems too.
Love Helen xxx
Hi Sue, a beautiful CAS style card and your daffodils are lovely. It's great that you have included a bud as well. I have other daffodil dies but they are extremely fiddly to make up, your layering flowers look to be so much easier that I think I must invest.

Love love love these daffodil dies. My very favorite set so far.
ReplyDeleteCherry McNamee
Loving this set and so unusual to see other than as a 3D type flower. Comes close to the poppy but not quite there as my fav.
ReplyDeleteHello Sue,
ReplyDeleteDaffodils are such cheerful flowers and your sample does them justice, it’s beautiful. It’s the Welsh national flower if I’m not mistaken and I imagine all your Welsh followers will be delighted with this set.

Hi Sue
ReplyDeleteI do love daffodils and there’s nothing nicer than a small vase of them in the house after all the Christmas decorations are put away. Your card is beautiful, clean and simple, and looks like some new butterflies are coming soon
Love and hugs to everyone

Afternoon Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh these Daffodils really do bring back memories for me, every mothers day we gave my Mum a flower, and she treasured it for weeks. This card sample is beautiful, and I can think of so many people who would love this card. I wonder what it would look like as a bunch as you suggested. Your so clever. x

Hi Sue,
ReplyDeleteI love their cheerful little faces and those in my garden are shooting up. This is such a pretty card but I'm already considering putting them in a frame along with your other flowers because that way I get to keep them lol

You are so right, Sue, the layered flower collection would be incomplete without a daffodil, this spring flower. They're known to poke their heads up through the snow and to signify that winter has ended and sunnier months are ahead. I cannot wait for those days to come! So this die set is a "must have' for me.
ReplyDeleteGood Luck to all.
Hugs from Toronto to you all.
Stay safe and healthy.

ReplyDeleteThese layered daffodils are just gorgeous and I have to say that they match absolutely perfectly with your own amazing green and gold background!! I think that all your dies could be layered also more, gluing two layers of any little piece that build a flower.
ReplyDeleteA fabulous release for sure, and seems really easy to use!!!
Lovely flower and card :))
ReplyDeleteThe Daffodil dies are perfect! This flower is a bastion of spring! Beautiful card Sue.
ReplyDeleteDaffodils are such brave harbingers of spring, along with a little snow mixed in sometimes! These dies are very realistic, and they look beautiful with the split background layer and the butterflies. Hugs.

Evening Sue, nicer than your other daffodil, but still use that one at this time of year, this will be a nice accessory. Garden is sprouting leaves at the moment if the snow and frost don't kill them, but by end of February middle of March they'll be in full bloom. A

ReplyDeleteHi Sue. It'r really hard to make daffodils look 3D because of the trumpet element, but you have done really well here.

Daffodils are one of my favourite flowers. Yellow flowers are always bright and cheery and can make a wonderful card. Ruth Scott Oz
ReplyDeleteBeing a fully fledged Welsh lady I can definitely say this set is a must! I returned to full time work a year ago (hence my disappearance from this blog) and no longer have as much time for my crafting so anything that makes the job easier is a winner in my book lol. And the daffs are springing up in my flowerbeds although this latest cold weather is scaring them a bit I think 🥶
