Best Day Ever!

Hi bloggers!  This is a card that I made with some left over die cuts from two other cards!  I selected a piece of white card and used the Balloons Embossing folder on it to add texture.  I used the two blue balloons that were die cut from other cards (but not used).  They were cut from a piece of card that I used Midnight Blue and Aqua Lagoon Pixie Powders on.  I coated them with Cosmic Lacquer to give them a shine.  I attached them to the embossed background with mounting foam and added some squiggly strings to them from the Dotty Balloons die set.  I cut the Best Day Ever sentiment in black and added it to the lower corner.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

    Hi Sue. What a great idea to make a card using the leftovers from another project. The pixie powders are such stunning colours it would have been a pity to let them go to waste.

    Good Morning Sue. Such a lovely card today. I just love that embossing folder ... And I can't understand why I have not noticed it before. It certainly send the message across. I think I will be replicating it soon . I have quite a few man cards to do at this time of year. Thankyou Sue.

    Oh yes - the stunning Pixied balloons with my favourite Pixie colours. I bet the balloons look even better ‘in real life’ with the cosmic lacquer to give them a shine. Unlike others, I do remember the embossing folder and I absolutely love it. Wonderful card x

    This shade of blue you have used for the balloons is one of my favorite colors, and I love how the color pops against the white. The balloon embossing folder is a plus. This card would be appreciated by anyone child or adult. Beautiful card.

    A quick and easy card, but so pretty with these blue balloons from scrap and with Balloons EF.I always forget to use my EF's.
