Family Circle

Hello crafters!  I started by coating a piece of card with the Dazzling Denim Lustre Polish and allowing it to dry completely.  Unfortunately,  my pictures do not do this colour justice, 
it is gorgeous!  Next I used the Sublime Swirls embossing folder to give it some texture.  I decided to bring the texture out a bit more so I used the Snow And Ice Lustre Polish lightly over the top of the embossing to really show off the pattern.  I cut the Star Flower Flourish die in white.  I cut the separate flower again in white, added a glittered backing to it.  I then cut a small piece of the leftover background card and cut the centre of the flower out of it.  I paper pieced the centre back into the flower and glued the die cut vertically to the side of the card with the flower raised by mounting foam.   I cut the Family Circle die twice out of white card and stacked them, then glued it to the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/4"  x  7 3/4"  in size.   All for now, Sue x

    The colour looked quite dark in the main picture but after scrolling down, I could see it was much lighter and a beautiful colour, making a lovely card.

    A really striking card! I love the rich look of the lustre polish over the 3D embossing folder; it looks amazing. The white Star Flower Flourish and the white sentiment really pop against the dark background. Beautiful.
