Hello all! We are starting out this week with a lovely Vanessa card! I started by cut the
Vanessa die out of the centre of a piece of coconut white card. I added a piece of
Teal card as a backing to it and added small pearls to the flower centres. Next I cut another
Vanessa die, but added the outer cutting edge. I cut the backing out of
Ocean card and glued them together. I cut it down the centre and glued the halves to the edges of the card. I cut the centre die from the Vanessa in white and cut it down the centre and added it to the middle of the two halves. Next I made a small multi layered frame using the
Double Stitched Ovals, using Ocean card as the base and white as the top layer of the frame. I stamped a
Thanks sentiment and cut it out with the
Pierced Flags die. I added a slightly larger one as a mat and nipped some of the length off and added it across the frame. I used the
Blossom Patch die to add three small flowers at the edge of the sentiment. The card was completed with white, Ocean and Teal mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 8 3/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

I was going to put that I couldn't think of a nicer combination of colour and dies that you've chosen to start the week, Teal and Vanessa are both absolutely gorgeous - but saying that most of the samples we see here are just beautiful whether it's a typed post or video (which I also learn most by watching) so this card actually says "thanks" to you for giving us so much inspiration and being a brilliant mentor via your video posts. A really pretty start to another week xxx

The “extras” pearls and sweet little flowers finish your blog off perfectly today. Thank you again for inspiration, I don’t have Vanessa but do have quite a few frames and tags and will check to substitute for a card in this style
