Hi there my crafty friends! This post is dedicated to showing the Laced Heart die set. Although it is part of our new Fillable Collection, I decided to show it in a card without a treat cup! See what versatility there is, you can easily use this set with or without the matching heart treat cups. Shown here, it looks great just used to create a fabulous background cut out of the card. What do you think so far? Leave a comment and I will enter your name in the drawing to win this set of dies. The next blog post is scheduled for 3pm today. Looking forward to seeing you back here then. All for now, Sue x

Good afternoon lovely Sue and her crafty crew!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful addition to the Fillables collection and yes, what versatility. It creates a gorgeous understated background, very classy i believe and something i would definitely recreate....love the soft colour tones and the layered frames. Nice to get a sneaky peek at the new Crysanthamum die too, it is scrumptious and definitely on my need list....even though i said many moons ago that i had enough flowers, didn't need anymore....oh, how naive:-)
Yes, i am really enjoying this launch Sue, it is so varied and is really keeping me on my creative toes.....when you asked Yvonne and myself at Ally Pally what we would like to see in the future we should have realised that you had already thought of our suggestions and had them in production:-) you are a genius dear lady, you have your finger on the pulse at all times and instinctively know what we want so i cant thank you enough for being you and making our dreams into a tangible realityxxxx
Picking a highlight would be an impossibility because i love it all, i am literally dribbling embarrassingly over the prospect of what you have in store for us, its so exciting......
Sending hugs to all the usual suspects, my blog besties, who i can see are in rapturous awe of Sues talents also, enjoy the show ladiesxxxx

ReplyDeleteYou give us crafters so many wonderfully useful ideas when using your dies. I am so glad you inspire me each day. This multi-cut background with this Lacy Heart die certainly looks to me like a piece of handwork using the "pulled thread" technique. I used to do this handwork on fine linen fabric using linen thread when I still had great eyesight.
