Hello all! I have been in this pink and silver mood lately; there is just something about these colours together that sings to me! I started at the bottom of the page and cut the Triple Best Wishes die out of coconut white card. I used the negative piece and glued it to a piece of silver card. Next I cut a larger piece of white card and used the decorative die from the Brussels die set and cut it out in the centre. I backed it with pink card. I cut a thin strip of both the pink and the silver card and added to both sides of the card as an accent. I cut the Happily Ever After die out of silver card and backed it with white and cut the centre out of it. I stamped my sentiment (from Phill Martins set) and covered it with a sticky adhesive sheet. I placed the Ornate frame over the top after peeling the backing paper, then sprinkled Diamond Sprinkles over the sentiment. I mounted it in a diamond orientation in the centre of the decorative cut out. I added mounting foam to the entire piece then added it above the Best wishes. I tied a bow from some silver ribbon from my stash, then added a Sweetheart Flower cut from pink card and edged with silver. I completed the card with a white pierced mat, a thin pink and silver mat and a final white layer. The finished dimensions are 8" x 8 1/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue (normally this is 'stupid o'clock' for me, but my husband injured his knee yesterday & woke me up @ 4.30am to help him to the loo. Now guess who went back to sleep & who didn't????!!!). Anyway, I digress - back to the card!!!! I love pink & silver too. It was my niece's wedding colours last year & I made her a card to match. This one is stunning. What die did you use for the faux stitching lines on the 2 vertical strips pls? I just love the effect. Thanks once again for more fabulous inspiration Sue xxx

Pam: glad you got the sunshine I sent up to you...it's pretty grey down here this morning and it looks like it wants to rain. Love the colours used for this card. The silver looks grey which I really do love. I have found it is difficult to get a true mat pale grey (which can be used for pebbles, rocks, stone wall etc). It is also difficult to get a true midnight navy.
