You're The Best


 Hi guys!  White on white is the best, isn't it!  I started by cutting a Grateful Lattice out of coconut white card and adding it over another piece of white card.  I wrapped a length of frilly edged ribbon around the card vertically and secured the ends to the back.  Next I cut the Radiant Rectangle die out of white card.  I layered it up with a frame cut from the Opulent Ovals set.  The next layer was from the Celtic Motifs.  I stamped my sentiment then covered it with a piece of sticky self adhesive sheet and cut it out with the small die in the Opulent Oval set.  I peeled the backing paper off and coated it with micro beads.  I used mounting foam on it to secure it to the centre of my focal element with some dimension.  I tied a double bow from the frilly edged ribbon and added it the the bottom corner of my card.  I topped it with a heart Dazzler and two pearl stick pins.  I added a matting layer of micro beaded white card for a bit of the bling, then finished with a final white mat.  I embellished the centre piece with flatback pearls around the Celtic Motif die cut.  Finished dimensions are 7" x 8" in size.  What a lovely wedding or anniversary card this would make!  Since I am travelling today, I am postponing the drawing for the comment game winners.  I will draw a set from this week when I return and post it next Sunday with those winners.  Don't forget to leave a comment so you will be entered to win!  All for now, Sue x

    morning Sue from a very very sunny and already hot day here in Burngundy.
    Whilst normally I love white/white I'm afraid I'm going to be shot down by others but today's gift does not hit me. I love the format and all the dies you have used but not together. I find for me it's a little too busy - I know you can't always please everyone - that isn't life is it?

    Love white on white, it always looks elegant. Have to say though on my computer it looks a bit like white on pale green for some reason ( which still looks lovely)!! The die that stands out for me is the Celtic Motif - I really do like this set along with the Celtic Accents. Hope Aberdeen went well and that you have a safe journey home.

    I think white on white is so striking, it doesn't always show up perfectly on tv but in the flesh, its so clean and fresh. This card is stunning, beautiful ribbon and the dazzler just finishes the bow perfectly! x

    White on white is fantastic! The bow reminds me of a delicate butterfly with a Dazzler body and stick pin antennae! Maybe the heat has got to me! I bet you're worn out after yesterday - can't wait to find out how it went.

    I particularly like the centre piece and the flat back pearl decorative effect. Even though there is a lot of detail in the card, it does not appear too much!
