I was hoping to bring you a few more Christmas cards as well as some of my pics from CHA, but my laptop isn't playing nicely at the moment. Keep checking back as I am sure that it will come around eventually (must be the Florida humidity!) All for now, Sue x

What a pretty card.
ReplyDeleteWow that is a beautiful card, stunning actually. I seldom use yellow, not sure why but if you share more lovely cards like this one you might inspire me. LOVE those organza ribbon roses.
ReplyDeleteBlessings Bernie
Pretty! Love the layers

Yellow is such a cheery colour. The dies you used are very pretty. I also love the rounded corners and the piercing.
ReplyDeleteStunning card, i agree that yellow does not get much of a show anywhere. I have become fond of the combination of yellow and grey. It is a nice cheery colour. However I tend to use more pastel yellow recently. Great to see samples using a stronger yellow.
ReplyDeleteI've always been a fan of yellow - particularly in summer. It can really bring other colours to life.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, love the colour combo, I am into orange and grey combo. Looking forward to CHA pictures. Hugs Bee
ReplyDeletegORGEOUS CARD, i REALLY LOVE THIS COMBO HERE, AND THE YELLOW ALWAYS REMINDS OF SUMMER AND SUN, SOMETHING WE SURE HAVEN´T HAD TOO MUCH OF HERE THE LAST YEARS, SO IT´S GREAT TO GET A BIT FAKE SUNSHINE THEN.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Sue, thanks for showing that yellow does work with certain colours. Must admit it is a colour I don't use much but keep them coming as I love seeing your colour combo's.
ReplyDeleteHugs
Christine xx
what a great colour combination =) i really like yellow but don't often use it, thanks for the inspiration xx
ReplyDeleteI never choose bright yellow as a first choice in any projects, although I don't dislike it. I think I prefer more lemon tones, but this card has made me value its qualities more. It looks really effective with the dark royal blue. A lovely card yet again, looking forward to seeing more.
ReplyDeleteA really smart card, Sue. I don't like yellow on it's own but love it combined and calmed down.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a good time in Florida.
BTW - Will your DVD - YES!!!! everyone - be available at Ally Pally???, or only Create and Craft?
Love the card, great colour choice.
ReplyDeleteWhats this I read a DVD at last.
Sue
DVD apparently due end August. Sue will probably hang, draw and quarter me for that! Hey,ho....
ReplyDeleteDVD!!!!! Not before time, your talent should be available for everyone and at a relaxed pace that we can enjoy. Too many interuptions on C&C and half the time you dont get to finish a card. Cant wait to see it!!!
ReplyDeleteYellow is one of my favourite colours, it always reminds me of sunshine and sunflowers! Love the colour combination on this card. Well done for thinking outside of the box as they say!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, especially the roses for that extra special something. Keep them coming.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you've managed to squeeze in the DVD project Sue. It is long overdue and I agree - you get interupted so much at C&C (for obvious reasons as it is not possible to concentrate on a longer project). This will give all your fans the one-on-ones they have been craving!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your CHA posts and love the card as ever, take care
