Wishing You A Beautiful Day
Hello bloggers! Today's card is a bit head of the fall schedule so sorry about that! I started with a piece of the striped paper from the Dots 'N Stripes Paper pad to use as the background. I cut the Window die in brown and added mounting foam to the back. I cut a piece of white card the same size as the window to use as the background for the scenes, I cut the tree in tan from the Swing Tree die set and added half of it to the left side of the window. I cut a "field" of sunflowers with green stems with yellow and brown centres and added them at the top of the scenes. I cut the scarecrow from the Autumn Scene die set and coloured him in red and blue then added him in front of the flowers. Finally, I cut a pile of coloured leaves and heaped them at the base of the tree. I added the window over the scene and used mounting foam to add it to the background. I cut the Wishing You A Beautiful Day sentiment in brown and glued it to a white shadow backing piece. I seated it under the window with mounting foam. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 8 3/4" in size. All for now. Sue x
Good morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, every day you surprise us with your samples, and this one is a real belter, the little farmer behind the window and all the flowers and leaves, really do make the card come to life, love it.

ReplyDeleteHi Sue.
ReplyDeleteTreated ourselves to a day out at some beautiful RSPB Wetlands yesterday as it was much cooler and kinder to my lungs then flaked out after my bottom touched the sofa, I woke to go to sleep but the thunder had other ideas.
This design is beyond cute, beautiful sweet and any other words that have moulded themselves together in all the heat, it made me smile thank you for sharing your ideas, these dies are just lush.
Stay healthy.
Be happy.

What a stunning beautiful design, talk about smiling like the Cheshire cat, I just look ridiculous lol oh my word Sue i'll be smiling all day. With it being cooler yesterday we treated ourselves to a day out at a stunning RSPB Wetlands such busy little birds struggling with the heat especially the chick's we didn't want to leave the peace but the chattering of the tiny birds flitting about in the reeds was so musical a magical ending to our cooler kinder day.

Be happy.
