Home Is Where Your Journey Begins
Hello crafters! It's a bit early for autumnal cards but I thought I would share this one anyways! I started today's card by cutting the window die out of white card. I cut a piece of arctic blue card the same size as the window to use as the background for my scene. From the Swing Tree set, I cut two of the trees out of tan card. I added a tire swing to one of them. I cut two clouds from the You Are My Sunshine set and added them behind the tree. I cut the kite from the Garden Accessories die set in red and blue and added it above the other tree. from the same set, I cut the fence die twice in white and added it across the front of the trees. I added mounting foam to the back of the window die and attached it over the scene. Using a piece of blue and white striped paper from the Dots 'N Stripes Paper Pad, I used it as wallpaper behind the window. I cut a piece of white card for the bottom of the card and added two thin strips of white card between the join area. I used the Home Is Where Your Journey Begins from the Milestone Wordie sheets and added it with mounting foam below the window. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x 8 3/4" in size.

Good morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, such a beautiful window card, love the kite in the air. Oh wow new collection coming out, I wonder what the theme for this one will be.

Morning Sue. A lovely card thank you , wow another launch I'm looking forward to it. Take care all Kitty.
ReplyDeleteI know you said it was an autumnal card but the blue paper does make me think of sunshine for some bizarre reason. Excited to see the inspiration on the new samples; having seen Jamie present them earlier this week. WakeyL
ReplyDeleteGoodafternoon Sue and all that visit today. At last after 10 days I have the Internet. Please forgive me for my absense. We are in Turkey as we always go there for our holiday break.
ReplyDeleteToday's card is lovely as always Sue. I have had a look ba k and seen your wonderful fishing cards which I will be saving to make for my son. If I can get on over the weekend I will comment .... but please don't put my name in the draw for the new launch. As its not fair to others who can comment. Good luck to everyone. We are back on June 9th where everything will go back to normal. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them. Please stay safe and well 🙏. Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds

Hi Sue. Some of my favourite dies again, I do love the pictures or stories made with these, not used them yet but I will at some point, im starting to run tight with storage of made cards, ho hum.
ReplyDeleteAs far as you thinking you're giving us an autumnal type card, this country started to lose its seasons and now we could have 4 seasons in one day!! At present they are enticing us with heatwaves over the next 4 days or so ..... we'll see lol.
Looking forward to your treats again Sue hopefully I won't forget !
So have a good day if you're passing and I'll hopefully I will remember the treats you have to share with us tomorrow xx
Love your window scene! Adorable card!
