Sending Sunshine
Hello crafters! I began today's card by cutting the Swirly Scrolls Background in both white and black card. I used the black die cut as an offset shadow behind the white die cut. I added a piece of Marigold Yellow card behind the background. I added a piece of white vellum on top of the background, the attached a white frame cut from the Double Stitched Rectangles with mounting foam. Next I cut the Della die with a piece of black card on top of a piece of white card. I used alcohol ink markers to colour the image that was debossed into the white copy. I glued the black die cut on top of it and added it to the inside of the frame with mounting foam. I stamped the sentiment from the Sending Sunshine stamp set and cut it out with the inner decorative oval form the Della set. I used Mustard Seed distress ink around the sentiment while it was still in the die. I glued it to the centre of the Della die. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7" x 8 1/4" in size.

Hi Sue, this gorgeous card certainly brought some sunshine into my life this morning, I love everything about it. The weather has certainly been less than seasonal and if we have no more rain for a fortnight I think the ground will still be too wet to work!
