Happy Bird Day

Hello crafters!  I started with a piece of white card and used the Double Stitched Circle dies to cut two offset apertures into the card.  I used the Scalloped Circle dies to add frames around both of them.  I added a white backing piece behind the apertures.  I cut the Parrot and the Toucan to go into the apertures.  I cut the Parrot in white and use markers to colour it.  I added it with mounting foam to the top apertures, then accented it with greenery and a couple of small flowers.  I cut the Toucan out of black, yellow and orange card and assembled the pieces.  I added another sprig and greenery and fliwers to the edge of the aperture.  I cut the Happy Bird Day in black and glued it to the uper left side of the card with a small flower and leaves.  I cut the Dear Friend sentiment in black and glued it in the opposite corner with a flower anf leaves.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  8 1/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x
