Daisy Stained Glass

Hi bloggers!  I have a lovely stained glass card to share with you today.  I cut the Daisy Stained Glass die out of black card and glued it to a piece of teal card as backing.  Next I cut it out of white card that I covered with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz and used the fall away pieces of the flowers and leaves to paper piece it back into the teal backed version.  I added dries clear glue to the centres of both flowers and added medium clear micro beads and allowed them to dry.  I covered a piece of black card with Black Glitterbitz and cut the Stained Glass die out of it, then used the fall away pieces from the edges to paper piece into this one to create a bold frame around it.  I used the Double Stitched Rectangle die set to add a white frame around the entire piece, then added a black mat.  The card was then completed by adding white, teal and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/4" x  7 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Good Morning Sue. This is a lovely sample Sue and beautiful work. But somehow the stained glass dies are not my thing. But you bring out the beauty of them as you do with all your work. Hope you don't mind me saying this .... but it wouldn't do for us all to be the same. Lace frills and bows are mine....and I can't complain as you give us lots like this. Sending best wishes to everyone. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds

Hi Sue. It's great to see all the different ways you can use the stained glass dies. This one is really good for paper piecing as it is not too fiddly. Love this die and I am sure it is one of the most popular judging by its performance on TV recently.

Hi Sue
I really love all of your Stained Glass dies. They make such gorgeous cards and this is no exception x
They can be used to make simple cards but if 'zinged' up they can be used to make really elaborate cards.
How you keep coming up with such amazing and versatile dies is beyond me - certainly not complaining x
This week is turning into another busy one for me. Looking forward to next week - much quieter - then the week after that , Jake is away fishing in France - a really quiet week. Love him to bits but don't mind admitting I am really looking forward to the peace and quiet x
Sending lots of love to all specially missing friends x
