Wednesday Weekly Card Giveaway

Hi crafters!  This cute little guy is looking for a good home as this is our Wednesday Card Giveaway this week.  I think this is my favourite gingerbread man card, I just love the adorable mask background on it!  I started by taping the Gingerbread Man Mask to a piece of tan card.  I used Frosted Sparkle Glitter Kiss through the mask using the four turn method.  This gives a lovely coverage to all parts of the detail in the mask.  I set it aside to dry and started to work on the house.  I cut it in white with white side accents.  I cut the Icicle border die from the Snowflake Edger die set and added an Iced Snow coverage to it for a frosty feel.  I glued it to the underside of the roof line, the added more Iced Snow along the roof and top of the chimney.  I added door panels and peppermint candy windows to the front, then attached it to the background with foam.  Next I cut the Gingerbread man in tan card.  I inked through the die with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide to add his tummy, cheeks and smile.  I put his eyes in with a pencil. Using a small amount of Comic Lacquer, I wiped over him to give him a bit of a shine.  I used Red Glitter Kiss on to a piece of red card and allowed it to dry, then cut his bow tie and buttons, along with the Our House sentiment and the berries for the holly.  I glued on the bow tie, buttons and white icing bands and added the little guy to the side of the house.  I cut a holly in green then added the glittery red berries to the top and glued it in the upper corner.  Opposite, I added my sentiment, cut and stacked for dimension and then the glittered version on top.  White and red mats and layers were used to complete the card.  If you think you could give this little fella a good home, just leave me a comment to be entered into the drawing to win this one.  The winner will be announced on Saturday's blog post.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  7" in size.  All for now, Sue x
