I missed out on all these beautiful dies, but they are up there on 'my need list' I've always loved the trellis effect whether it be for the garden or paper craft so the trellis die is a favourite look, along with the oval set, it just looks so pretty. It's a real winner of a card today.
I tried to use the 'thank you' die yesterday to make the negative as the main body of the card but only managed 3 repeats but it still gave a good effect when I added a configuration border top and bottom, if only I was good at that kind of thing lol maybe stick to what I know won't go wrong and not try something different when I've not got the time, it was a last minute idea for a card for Cassie's trainers along with a big container of sweets as it's her last day of doggy school, I decided to do it in the colours of the group so the beautiful green Foundations card was a god send.
I'm not quite sure how much sense this post makes as having a 'lie in' has put me out a little and fuddled my brain more than normal lol so I'll finish with my usual hug and send you love for the day and thank you for a lovely card today xxx

ReplyDeleteGorgeous card! I love anything with a 'Trellis' look about it, for me, it makes a beautiful background that cry's out for pearls! . Remember back in the day of your first ever die launch when you worked with SB? They had a 'Trellis ' look about them and are still among one of my favourite sets.
