I love it when your card is made using dies I have...I'm such a visual learner. Beautiful card and great video today.
I used to use wax paper, but sometimes found it left a slight sheen on my card stock--not always, but sometimes depending on the type and weight of the card, so I've switched to using parchment paper. It works the same and if you are doing any inking on your die cuts you don't have the sheen and/or slight "resist" effect that the wax causes. It's dirt cheap, too....I buy it at the Dollar Store. LOL Sometimes the parchment paper die cut stays in the die and when that happens, I leave it in there and keep using it until it falls out....it's like spraying Pam on a baking sheet.
Thanks for another wonderful card today. Have a great day!
WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! This beauty makes my heart go BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! I love the layering and the colors are so yummy!!! Definitely one of my favorites! TFS!

Hi sue and crafters. Oooh pretty frilly and georgeous just the ticket this morning. Live the open petals flowers too.
Ladies just to let those of u who are asking. Radiotherapy is going fine I just get a little tired with the traveling up and down to Glasgow everyday for the treatment. My skin is now looking a little pink but no issues. Almost finishe with week 2. And 2 more weeks to go. Thanks for ur daily well wishes hugs and thoughts. They go a long way.
Pretty card, Sue, inspirational video as always, thank you. All so lovely. Tracy - pleased that the treatment is going well, you're a star! Special thoughts for Tina and family on this sad sad day.
HI SUE LOVE ALL THAT LACEYNESS. FAB CARD. FLOWERS ARE SO CUTE TOO. FALLEN IN LOVE WITH THE FRAMES & TAGS GRACE AND AUSTRALIAN COLLECTION MELBOURNE. LIKE THE SO MANY DIFFERENT COMBINATIONS YOU CAN GET WITH THESE TWO SETS. GREAT VIDEO. ENJOYED IT. BORN AGAIN SPELLBINDER NADINE HUG XXX
Hi Sue, a very pretty card indeed. I don't usually go for just quite so much frill but I really like this card, the blue suits the style perfectly and I actually think I will try making something like this with the dies I have.
Tracy - glad you are coping so well with the radiotherapy. They will have to resurface the road by the time you have finished all that travelling lol.
Another fantastic demonstration to delight us with....I haven't had a moment to watch it today but I will be sure to find the time now I have a moment to relax. I love the petticoat concept, your dies lend themselves beautifully to this particular idea, the layers remind me of the old fashioned lace petticoats that I would love to have worn....don't know if I would like the accompanying corsets though:-) I really like a channel card, I've done a fair few in recent months and I love the effect. Once again fabulous dies used to their maximum potential by a crafting goddess....is that gushy enough for you Sue, I can feel you reddening with embarrassment from here:-) I've had a manic day, popped into town to open up a bank account and get my hair cut and dyed.....need a separate bank account to put my respite award money into so that the transactions can be accounted for, didn't have the proper ID so have to return on Monday, it's not so straightforward as I imagined:-(.....on my way to the hairdressers passed by a lovely little clothes shop that I just couldn't walk past and ignore, it had a lovely coral lace dress in the window that was just my size and begging to be given a home....not to mention the fact that the Radley handbag and purse my mum has just got me for my birthday matches perfectly....I tried it on before seeing a black sparkly fringed number with £150 off it which also fitted like a glove, decisions, decisions....what the heck! Buy both! So an expensive afternoon with my hair factored in, any advice on how I now convince my mum that I NEED more of Sues dies tomorrow night? Feeling exhausted now but it's worth it because that offending tramlines of grey down my parting is now all but a distant memory:-) Tina, my heartfelt sympathies on today's sad event, hopefully you can all begin the long healing process now, my thoughts are with youxxxx Tracy, you must be exhausted honey, that's a real trail for you every day, however, it's all for the best and you're only two weeks away from the finishing line:-) I hope that you have a treat planned for yourself, you deserve it after the tremendous fight and spirit you have shown over the past few months....maybe a die or three this weekend?:-) Beth, hope you're enjoying your time off work, are you managing to get anymore crafting done? What news of the MDF structure that fought back? Yvonne, I hope you have been suitably busy on my behalf today, those stamps won't stamp themselves after all!:-) Did you manage to satisfy your fetish by getting some of that holiday laundry out on the line? Are you suitably hysterical...like myself...about tomorrow night? P, love to you and Miss Pushy, hope she's still feeling wellxxxx Cuddles to all our poorly four paws including Lauren, Annie and Scampxxxx Hugs to all my besties, you know who you are my dearsxxxxx Have a lovely evening ladies......
Hi Sue Gorgeous card & love it..... Very pretty & the petticoat layers look amazing together with the stunning flowers makes a beautiful card for any occasion... Another beautiful 'Sue' creation & I would be so proud to receive an amazing card like this & would treasure it forever. Just off to watch the video..
Hi Sue, another beautiful card - thank you. Tina - my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family today xxx Tracy, pleased radiotherapy is going ok although you must be sick and tired of the travelling backwards and forwards. Love and hugs xx Sending love and hugs to all, Alison xxx
Gorgeous card. Love the petticoat layers and all the pearls. Enjoyed the video. Informative as always but today it had an added touch for me. I had inadvertently switched on the subtitles and when it came to the bit where you said run over the die with the Tool'n One, the text said "give a quick run over with my children 12". lol! I'm hoping to watch some of the weekend shows online. Wish Hochanda was available on Virgin. Take care everyone.

I've had a manic day, popped into town to open up a bank account and get my hair cut and dyed.....need a separate bank account to put my respite award money into so that the transactions can be accounted for, didn't have the proper ID so have to return on Monday, it's not so straightforward as I imagined:-(.....on my way to the hairdressers passed by a lovely little clothes shop that I just couldn't walk past and ignore, it had a lovely coral lace dress in the window that was just my size and begging to be given a home....not to mention the fact that the Radley handbag and purse my mum has just got me for my birthday matches perfectly....I tried it on before seeing a black sparkly fringed number with £150 off it which also fitted like a glove, decisions, decisions....what the heck! Buy both! So an expensive afternoon with my hair factored in, any advice on how I now convince my mum that I NEED more of Sues dies tomorrow night?
Feeling exhausted now but it's worth it because that offending tramlines of grey down my parting is now all but a distant memory:-)
Tina, my heartfelt sympathies on today's sad event, hopefully you can all begin the long healing process now, my thoughts are with youxxxx
Tracy, you must be exhausted honey, that's a real trail for you every day, however, it's all for the best and you're only two weeks away from the finishing line:-) I hope that you have a treat planned for yourself, you deserve it after the tremendous fight and spirit you have shown over the past few months....maybe a die or three this weekend?:-)
Beth, hope you're enjoying your time off work, are you managing to get anymore crafting done? What news of the MDF structure that fought back?
Yvonne, I hope you have been suitably busy on my behalf today, those stamps won't stamp themselves after all!:-) Did you manage to satisfy your fetish by getting some of that holiday laundry out on the line? Are you suitably hysterical...like myself...about tomorrow night?
P, love to you and Miss Pushy, hope she's still feeling wellxxxx

Gorgeous card. Love the petticoat layers and all the pearls. Enjoyed the video. Informative as always but today it had an added touch for me. I had inadvertently switched on the subtitles and when it came to the bit where you said run over the die with the Tool'n One, the text said "give a quick run over with my children 12". lol!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to watch some of the weekend shows online. Wish Hochanda was available on Virgin.
Take care everyone.
