Hello bloggers! Welcome to the first post for the 2015 Festive Christmas die Collection! There are 21 brand new Christmas dies that are being released now. I will be showcasing each of the different dies in blog posts over the next four days so I hope you can join us through to see them all. We have also decided to bring back seven of the more popular dies from last year's Christmas release, including Let It Snow, the Holly Spray and the Classic Poinsettia, to name just a few. This card is featuring the new Snowflake Border, Corner and Tag die set. You can see the border and the tag used here. They are beautifully detailed and are sure to add so much to your Christmas cards and projects this year! As always, I will be giving away a set of each of the new dies. You just need to leave a comment on each of the blog posts to be entered into the drawing for that particular die. One comment per blog post please as we want it to be fair to everyone. If you accidentally happen to duplicate your comment, I will remove any extras, but you can and should leave a comment on each different die post. If I can ask that you make sure to add either a surname initial, a nickname, a place (like Judy in Wolverhampton, for example), a funny alias or some other way of distinguishing yourself should your name be drawn. If I draw out just your first name, there may be more than one person claiming the die set and I only have one set to giveaway! I don't want anyone to be disappointed! What a beautiful die set. I just know we are in for four days of the most wonderful and beautiful cards for this festive launch. I cant wait to see which of the collection will be shown at 10am, there will be an awful lot of indecicive Wilsonettes trying to make a list of favourites over the next four day's me being one of them lol. They are sure to be another sell out on JS site that im certain. Well done Sue on the nicest festive collection to date.
Cant believe that a year today our beautiful daughter married the man of her dreams (and I spent the day blubbering) lol where did that year go !!

The die's are stunning and i think this set will be a must have and this is only the start lol. Looking forward to see what else you have created with your new die's. ReplyDeleteHi Sue. What a "Wow" card to begin your Christmas launch. This set is on my "must have" list (along with about seven others!!!) but I'll have to wait until pay day before I can order anything.
ReplyDeleteI'll also have to wait until I get home to see the rest of today's posts as we are no longer allowed to use the internet for personal use at work - even at lunchtime, but it's something to look forward to.

This set is just gorgeous and I can see the border being used throughout the year as it is so so lacy.
I have already seen your new dies and admit that this one was so eye catching that it went straight to the top of my list.

What can I say Sue this card has knocked me off the edge of my seat...it is absolutely stunning...though I’m sure I can find better words to describe your amazing talent coming through this masterpiece...anyone would be crazy not to love this card when your Wilsonettes make this for someone they love/care about. Gorgeous Sue & thank you for sharing with us...I know the lucky recipients of your generosity will be bowled over to receive a die from your amazing launch...GOOD LUCK to my companion Wilsonettes...
Ps I received a phone call yesterday to tell me that Sue’s demonstration Thurs July 2nd has been changed to 2 hour session, so I shall be there from 3pm...How amazing is that & needless to say extremely generous of Sue to share her day with us x x x
So sorry I didn’t pop into chat yesterday but what a busy day I had yesterday...non stop...here’s how it went & the humidity didn’t help either...Lauren versus wee sample-Vets-Bath & hair wash-Work at 11.30-Shopping-put that away...yawn...lol...Dinner-Wash up-Sit down with Fruit tea-Fell asleep-last order of the day BED....lol
Well friends shall we begin with the Lauren versus Wee sample...picture this...on normal days no matter what time I open back door girls go out & yes you’ve guessed...THEY GO WEE straight off...now picture yesterday a not so normal day...you get the gist me versus dog & tray.
Hannah take one...looks at me & tray & with a sideways glance, as if to say you’ll not catch me sitting on that thing, runs to other end of garden & YEeeeeeeeeeS she wees...oops wrong dog...lol...
Now for Lauren take one, take two, take three, take 15, take 24zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...now I’m thinking 100% DE JAVU...I’ve definitely been here before...take 25, take 26, take 30...WAIT!!!! get your act together, snap the movie clipboard we have action...tray under but just as soon as madam moves around...tray under yet again & madam moves around again...tray under, you get the gist, well by now I’m on the road to dizzy & I’m getting in the tray what appears to be a trickle of wee whilst the ground swallows up the main part of it...lucky ground.
Ha! I think she is laughing at me whilst performing her going round in circles trick...by now I’m thinking this is so not clever Lauren. Okay now Lauren squeeze out your last drops for me baby...Ha! “No chance” she mumbles as she trots off triumphantly around the garden to which then she meets up with Hannah & they both look at me with...well you animal lovers will know (((((THAT LOOK)))))...as if to say 1 love for the dogs, 0 for the human. I embarrassed...of course but only if someone was watching the debacle...turn it into a movie...no chance though I’m sure the girls would love to...lol...this girl more intelligent than me? Definitely...lol...Perhaps I should borrow one of your cats to show them how it’s done...lol
By now I’m thirsty, tummy is rumbling & I’m busting for another wee...well at least I could go wee into the tray if I have to... Sorry folks, I know what you’re all thinking, but I am NOT going to show her how it’s done...lol

ReplyDeleteNow that is what I call a Christmas card. Snowflakes! and loads of them. The card is superb and the background sublime. Only you can do that.
This is so beautiful and once again I thank you for your generosity in sharing your launch with us by way of a draw to win one of your beautiful dies.
Wish list will probably be growing after each post today and the days to come. My bank balance will shrink but hey ho, I'm only here once and as my Pete used to say, 'If you really want it, will use it and get pleasure from it, then why not?' He knew how my crafting helped me enormously whilst recovering from my meltdown and subsequent ops that held me back a while. A very wise man and I was so lucky to have him as my husband and best friend for almost 26 years.
My comfort blanket ((((hugs))) are waiting to jump out and wrap themselves around whoever would like one. Don't be shy, grab one and enjoy.

I've already ordered 3 dies from Joanna yesterday, but I think I need to place another order! Although maybe I should wait till I see what's coming next, I can't order 4 times a day. ReplyDeleteI cannot believe that I have slept in on today of all days- my little cherub Darcey had me up after only 2 hours sleep to let her out presumably to do the toilet, she flatly refuses to use a litter tray the little dear:-( Anyway, my sleep has been rather fractured as a result and I feel like the walking dead-all I need is a powerful pick me up and lo and behold Sue obliges with the first of her marvellous launch. I have seen the dies already, so what is exciting me are the inevitable masterpieces sue has worked so hard to create.
The snowflake set is one of my favourites due to its versatility and you do not disappoint us Sue. Love the use of the shaving foam technique in the background too and blue is a more hip seasonal colour palette too.
Beth you have had me in stitches this morning, your post was as welcome as Sues new die launch! I would post you the granules we were given for Gizmos litter tray if I thought that it would do you any good but I fear that Lauren will always be one step ahead of you!:-) good luck with your next attempt......I think though that it's a miracle not luck that may be required don't you?
Cheryl, what a gem of a husband you had, if only my family had the same attitude though- like you, I have spent a large % of my time in and out of hospital over the years and crafting has been my lifeline, yet I am met with indignation when I express a desire to buy 'another die when I have hundreds already!!??!' Dies are like shoes , you can never have too many of a colour, design, heel height etc, etc, etc.....you get my drift.
