Wishing You All The Best

Happy Sunday morning to everyone!  I am looking forward to today's Tool Shed show from noon to 2pm.  I hope you can join me for some lovely demos and new products!  We have, however, brought back the Delicate Aster die set by Heartfelt Creations.  If you have been on the hunt for this one, look no further as it is finally here again. I started this card by cutting the Adorning Squares using the new custard coloured card.  I just used the inner insert dies and kept the outside shape the square pattern.  I used the inner frame to cut it into a frame so my sentiment could show through. I stamped my sentiment in black archival ink on white card, then glued the square piece to it so the white showed through the decorative cuts. The sentiment is from the Gratitudes set by Creative Expressions.  I then cut the Resplendent Rectangle die and nipped the top and bottom edge off to use as a border behind the opposite sides of my square focal element.  I mounted this piece on another piece of custard card that I used the Bracket Border insert to cut a decorative bottom piece.  I used the same die three times to create a frilly design for the bottom portion of my card.  Using plain vellum, I cut several of the Delicate Aster dies to create a few flowers for the top of my card as accents.  I used two die cuts per flower then offset them to create a fuller flower.  I added 8mm pearls to the centres as accents.  I matted the card with a double mat of coconut white card.  Using the white Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue, I added glue dots around the edge of the card to complete it.  Finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" in size.

    A very beautiful and gentle gift for a Beautiful already warm sunny Sunday here in Burgundy.
    I say gentle as the colour scheme would be wonderful for a gentle newborn and would suit either gender.
    As usual your formats are fantastic. I so do love the bracket dies. Am trying to get organised for 12.00 your time today with fingers cross that signals don't die on me.

    Hi Sue. A beautiful card today !! I love it all. It is very pretty and summery. I love the custard colour card but have not managed to get hold of any yet. I have the Aster flower dies and they are gorgeous. They are one of my favourite flower sets and I use them all the time !! I love the bracket dies to but I do not have them. You have used the Adorning squares die to. I have these and they are just beautiful dies and perfect for making a male card with. I can't wait until 12 midday to see you on tv !! I am angry with c+c fior cancelling your 5pm show. They did this to Julia a few weeks back to. There are not enough shows on c+c with you and Julia in and on top of that they then go and cancel more !! What on earth are c+c playing at ? Hope your show goes well. Congrats to all the winners.     Hello Sue, Really enjoyed the demos on tool shed, you were brilliant and the samples stunning. Today's card is so pretty and summery, love the asters and the custard card, had to order the card and a few other goodies, so glad I ordered the distress markers when I saw the spritz demo, beautiful results, did look like a watercolour.
